Twitter has unleased and reacted with horror after the official Weetabix brand in the UK suggested putting a can of baked beans on the breakfast biscuit as a meal.

The cereal company posted a tweet on Tuesday showing two of the biscuits covered in a popular brand of UK baked beans with the caption: “Why should bread have all the fun when there’s Weetabix?”
But users of social media — including some big brands and even an Australian airline and our local state police departments — weighed in on the idea, with some calling it “criminal”.

Virgin Australia said that it was times like this when the airline was “kind of okay with the international borders being closed”, throwing shade at the ongoing international border closure currently enforced by the Federal Government.
The US embassy in London said it wasn’t quite the US/UK collaboration they “were hoping for”.

Victoria Police even weighed in, saying the collaboration between the two popular breakfast foods was a “crime” while Sussex Police said “nothing warrants this” while West Yorkshire Police warned: “Even though this is criminal, please don’t ring us to report it.”
The National Health Service in the UK said the collaboration should come “with a health warning” while the official Guinness World Records Twitter page said the combination had won the record “for most random breakfast combination”.
